Bis: Sci-Fi Steven, Manda Rin, John Disco. Recorded at the Apollo Studio,
Glasgow, Scotland. This Scottish trio is quite literally post-punk, since all three
members were born after the advent of punk rock. Accordingly, Bis offers
youthful insouciance to spare on its debut album. Excoriating everyone from
racists and homophobes to over-exposed pop stars, Bis displays the kind of
naive, righteous anger that has been one of the building blocks of great rock
and roll since the genre's inception. The band's uncanny pop knack and goofy
