The Rouch Brothers

The Rouch Brothers
the Rouch Brothers

Many many years ago in a place far far away from any big cities, 4 brothers grew up on a farm. They loved music and were bored. So they started writting and recording their own stuff. They went to Lulufir Military Academy where they recieved their training in "how to have a bad attitude." They went on to college to learn how to do the stuff that people now learn how to do in High School. Mockery is the sincerest form of imitation so they butchered all the styles that passed thru their ears. They had huge interstate song writting contests with Kelly and Logan and other friends. They pretended, but not all the time. In the end they basically needed to purge roll & rock and continue to do so.

The CD titled "Big Load" is a sample of those years, one song being ten years old, with seven being this year's model. The 3 M's of Music, Machinery and Beer are a big part of their world. Driving a 12 row, front fold, planter is what you'd imagine it would be like to drive a B-17 on a state highway.

The Rouch Brothers are Terry and Jamie Rouch, Karl Lorts and Rick Maxwell. They'll be playing around the midwest, summer of '99...
